Government issues Coronavirus advice for Sports
Latest DCMS guidance advice is that there’s presently no rationale to close or cancel sporting events, but this may change as the situation evolves. For those hosting sporting events, whatever their size, attendees and participants should stay up to date on the government’s latest advice on how to avoid catching or spreading the virus. Especially at community and leisure services, such as indoor events, hand hygiene should be strongly promoted and encouraged and equipment and facilities should be thoroughly cleaned and wiped down as usual following use. This should also be done at beginners and have-a-go events. The frail, elderly and those with pre-existing health conditions should stay away from gatherings as part of general advice aimed at minimising unnecessary contact with others. For those travelling to sporting events overseas, the Foreign Office’s travel advice should be followed.

Archery BIG WEEKEND coming 15-17 May 2020
Remember that it is the Archery Big Weekend on 15-17 May 2020 (assuming that the UK is not closed due to corona virus. Started for the Games in London 2012, an estimated 45,354 people have now been introduced to archery at a Big Weekend event over the past few years! This National weekend of archery is about celebrating and raising the profile of our great sport, at welcoming and friendly fun-day style events.
